At some ungodly hour, we loaded up dogs, bags, trolley, food daughter and grandchildren and set off for our Crufts 2022 adventure.

We all had a fabulous day, and it was wonderful to see many people who we had not had chance to for a couple of years, the show team delighted us with their results.  Given that the youngsters really had limited exposure to busy, crowded and at times, noisy halls, they all performed beautifully, and I could not be prouder of them

 

First up was Calvdale Ever Thus (Jim) who wagged his way around the ring, beautifully handled by granddaughter Elizabeth to win the Puppy Dog and then declared Best Puppy Dog

C. Scaramouche Jones (Jo) kept all four feet on the ground and really excelling at the large expanse of green carpet, powered around the ring to a creditable 2nd in Junior Dog behind the eventual RCC winner... not bad considering he is just out of puppy

Then it was the girl's turn to step out on the green carpet.  Delighted with these elegant young ladies who put on a wonderful performance to find placings in the cards – a fabulous achievement at the world's biggest dog show !

C Pure Theatre (Frieda) in what was possibly her first time in a large arena came a wonderful 2nd in Puppy bitch

C Flutter (beautiful Bea) freshly out of the puppy classes came 3rd in Junior

C Hostage of Fortune (Olive) came a creditable 3rd in Yearling

... but it wasn't all about the dog showing ... the girls also had a wonderful time !!!
